wow. it's been a really long time since my last post.
pretty cool to be back here. felt as though i never left.
my last post was about starting my second year of school, and right now, i'm into the second half of it. it sure has been a kick ass year. so much happened, so much to say.
well, first thing i would like to mention is my new year's resolution.

and quoting:
"1. make peace with God.
2. train. if life's kinda screw upped, at least i've got something i could do which i love, MMA.
3. study more. even though i know it's not really gonna help, but i'll try. ha. never say never.

for school wise, everything has been rather okay. the work load is more. and will be getting worse every time.

but during this part of my life, there's something that happen to me.

oh well, school's starting tomorrow. i'm not really looking forward to it, but something inside me is stirring with excitement and anticipating a good year ahead. tomorrow is kinda like new year's day to me, starting of school is the new year, and right now i'm counting down to it. timetable looks a little crappy, 4 days waking up at 7 am is crazy and one of those days end at 7 pm, something i'm not looking forward to. ever. i've been having a cold since yesterday afternoon, hasn't gotten away yet. i hope it doesn't ruin my first day. currently right now, the music playing around my ears are 30 Seconds to Mars' This Is War album and Slash's new Slash album. came across many nice songs. kinda right for the mood i'm having right now. did i just use the word "mood"? i thought i was emotionally impaired. haha. this past holiday wasn't really like a holiday. didn't do want i had planned. like spending the whole afternoon looking out of the window and watch the clouds, watching a movie marathon till' i drop, practice on the yo-yos, play a new board game (not really exactly, since i just got myself back to heroclix. bought myself a Ragnarok Surtur fig, but i'm not gonna count that since its just ONE fig) and a couple more. there are the good points too that makes this a holiday. hanging out with koolkids, my secondary school friends and Techapon and the rest. hah, gotta wake up a little more earlier tomorrow, i don't want to be in school in a rush manner. just packed my bag (pencil box, DS, Band Hero instruments and paper). first thing i'm gonna do in school as usual, is to go to Cheers, get myself a can of coffee and chocolates. great morning. haha.

with no news of WoW miniatures, i pretty sure i'll drop the game. it's been a really good run over the year of playing the game even though 2 sets were really pathetic and ridiculous, but hey, it's a great game. so i've been checking out the board game that started it all, Heroclix. It was my first exposure to the miniatures game and i left it when Wizkids closed but somewhere at the end of last year, NECA took over has has been a very dominate force since. i didn't want to go for it at that time, as i was still hoping those idiots at UDE would do something about WoW minis. Heroclix seems better than before, and with each passing day, my confidence in NECA grows evermore strongly. looking through their website, i found that their most recent set, Hammer of Thor, very impressive.

the set was well designed and i really want to get my hands on Venom, Hand Ninja, Captain America, and practically all of them.

they all seem playable and this brings the game with more skills and tactical planning. which is the reason why i used to love WoW minis.
hitting in stores on May 12, Heroclix is bringing in their new starter, Blackest Night. It is based on DC's famous story arc, well pretty obvious, Blackest Night.

great match, some faults here and there, but overall was great.

New ECW:

snapple. ECW had so many good (extreme) matches and it's sad to see it go away. ever since ECW revived, it was a good show. but when Bobby Lashley won the ECW title, it went downhill. sorry bobby, it's true.

the ECW Originals Vs the New Breed storyline was pretty good, until WWE lost Sabu. I'll always remember the Wrestlemania night when the 2 factions clashed.

RVD has always and will always be a credible champion. winning the ECW and WWE championship was an amazing feat. i wish RVD the best in his new home, TNA.

as sad/crazy as it sounds, i do miss these kind of matches.

so, my results are out.
the scores weren't good, but was much better than i expected. Cs all around sounded pretty good this time. my main concern was the Ds and the fails. glad that i had nothing to worry about.

i was most worried about my Psycho. i was well prepared to take another CDS next year.

Saturday (15 March), went to the IT fair with my brother. bought me a hard drive and laptop cover for my MacMac. went to the yoyo store before the IT fair. my brother bought a red Die Nasty and it looked so good that i have to get one for myself. mine's blue.

Sunday (14 March), went for Desiree's Bday party. Had a hair cut in the morning. a crew cut, somewhat inspired by Glee's Mark Salling (without the mohawk). headed to TM1 later that day, shared a present with bernard while the rest got her a top shop gift card. we went to her place later in the evening and had a great night. watched KKK play their little Card/Alcohol game.

Wednesday (17 March), was the second day of 1R03's class chalet. i didn't make it for the first day. took a cab with marcus to downtown east. they were more or less awake at 5 to 6 pm, and we headed to the supermarket to purchase the barbecue stuff. learned a couple of things that night, like how to use the water heater to cook hot dogs. it was quick and delicious. most of KKK got drunk. Eugene and Shuang were awake, seow hung was awake too but vomited, Bernard was in his own world, Shayne was like super happy, Marcus was red all over, Kim was laughing hysterically (AhaHaHaHehHehHaHa...) and i was sober cause i didn't drink.

Thursday (18 March). i didn't sleep, cleaned the place up, showered twice, ate cup noodles at the pool, brushed my teeth for over 30 mins, bought newspapers and read them, returned the barbecue pit, played the yoyo, and so on. went to check out before heading to EHub! for lunch. i had a quick argument with one of the staff at the chicken rice place. tossed her around with multiple rhetorical questions, giving her possible solutions and questioned her about her actions and how stupid they were. she was lost after a few words. that made my day. and there was free lunch for me too. they gave an extra plate. hansen was eating there too. took a cab back with shuang and marcus.
used the com for awhile and i didn't knew i fell asleep. my movie was at 5:15 and i woke up at 4:45. i rushed my way by taking a cab (to EHuB!) and went to catch the show with Yi Feng, Joy and Anna. the showed we watched was Alice and the Wonderland 3D. it was my first 3D show and my head was a lil tipsy after that. the show was okay, not bad and not good. kinda like the in between. ate at some Japanese restaurant and i have to say that i did enjoy my chicken curry rice. it was good. went back home after that.

just got a call awhile ago for Techapon and he told me his coming to singapore next monday and will be staying for a week. i'm looking forward to seeing him again.

its been fun since the end of my Ra paper. went to gene's place with kool kids to rot.
oh, i bought a new game last saturday evening, and the game has been good.

it come with the guitar grip.

been playing all three versions, and of the three, i prefer the guitar the most.
and on friday night, i went to buy a deluxe starter with alex. got me my customizable map, but the booster pull was not what i was looking for.
worked on a song that vimalan sent me. its gaga's paparazzi. with a few additions and stuff.

wow minis game has been facing a lot of difficulties. here.
now that ude and blizzard part ways, whats gonna happen?
blizzard's taking the tcg, but what about minis. my gut feeling tells me they are not. but i've just gotta hope for the best.

first week of school is over. it has been pretty cool. celebrated Wei Jun and Bernard's birthday on the 31st. ate a lot of sushi. 26 plates to be exact. played Cluedo twice during the week.
spent new year's eve listing to music and looking out of the window, into the dark empty sky.
spent new year's day listening to U2's New Year's Day.

the reality of the due dates of projects are killing me softly. gotta get it done, really soon.

i've been back for half a week already.

today was Realms Championship. the team i would play is none other than E3.
sure was fun.
i had lunch at Carls' Junior before heading to SMU.

i started Realms against Yong Teck and his triple Mortimers. First Big Mistake occurred: i forgot to reveal my equipment.
my dice rolls were amazingly great! but i fell short cause because of other mistakes made throughout the game.
second match, i was against Lady Jaina Proudmoore and Phadalus the Enlightened X2 played by Jade. lost the game because of constant heals from my opponent and when crits are needed, it came for him. his Phads were walking around with 1 life, before getting healed. always one dice short.
received a Death Knight and Rogue deck box along the way. and my Fourth Death Watcher. i plan to build an army of them.
i had a buy for my third round and during that time, i collected the 2 Spoils of Wars boosters that i reserved from Edwin awhile back. i opened the first pack and expected that a Water Elemental pull, due to the heaviness of it. i was right, but i didn't expect to find... Lady Vashj.

i picked her and my hand and went, "Hmmm... ... ... WWOOOWWW!!!"
it was so unexpected.

the rest of the pull was pretty okay. got me a Sandbox Tiger Loot card.

and guess what?
the Lady was my opponent for my third round. along with Bloodscale Wavecaller and Rethilgore, The team was played by Wilfred. his rolls were amazingly good. mine was good too, but his just thrashed mine. at one point, he killed 2 of my EFS with Vashj's attack. oh yah, same mistake again. forgot to reveal equipments. i really suck at that...
so the parings for the top 4 were up, and i came to notice that i had 3 loses and 1 buy. pretty bad. no, very bad. i should retire from E3 awhile, getting a little too predictable.
i stayed on till' the end and congratulations to Yong Teck for winning this event.
and Li Wei, i wish you better rolls.

Yong Teck gave me the two boosters that he won and i really appreciate that. i'm gonna use that to lure "someone" into the game. and got another Sandbox Tiger, which i too gave to my brother.

exams are finally over.
it has been a tough week. the papers were all rather difficult and that i could barely sleep. glad it's over. i really hate that last minute studying, hurts my brain. the left one. i guess i should be putting in more work next time.

the World had their WoW Minis Realm Champs over last weekend, and i've got a couple of pics of their First Shot Minis. They are the first figures that are "off the line". They are unpainted and one of a kind (for each figure). so its really cool to own one.

Elendril is sold at an a really amazing price of US$999.99 (Free Shipping, but does that really matter?).

this has made me looking forward to Singapore's Realms next weekend.
and once again, i'm stuck with Team Choice. so many teams were up. so hard to choose.
i just may jump back to what made me good. E3. haha!

wow. its finally friday. weeks almost over, but i can't relax. not just yet.
have a test on com skills on monday and a biz stats test on tuesday.

first week of school has been pretty cool. no tutorials, only lectures, which made me go to school at an average of 3 hours per day. now thats cool. lessons were boring though. all those intro things. i ate a lot of ice-cream too.
my time table is good too. got breaks and start at an acceptable time for me.
i have been listening to a lot of Paramore songs recently. i have fallen in love with their new album, Brand New Eyes. Misguided Ghosts, The Only Exception, Playing God, Turn it Off... Well, pretty much the WHOLE album.
i'm also working on a song that i'm familiar with, Swagger Like Us. it was the first song i ever recorded, and now i'm doing a new one, with the voice effects from Garage Band.
i'm preparing for my World of Warcraft Miniature Game Realm Championships which is in a couple of weeks time. i'm planning to join all three qualifiers this time, as i don't want to be sadly disappointed for not making it through the qualifiers like the time during the Nationals. i've built a team based on theory, on how to counter Ice Blocks, Dots, Equipments and all the other irritating stuff. the total honor is already 28, but i think its possible to get that many VP as this scenario is King of the Hill.

Tuesday (13 Oct) went to yi feng's house and watched shawn of the dead, hot fuzz and big stan with jocelyn, allison and ken. hot fuzz was a really goood show.
Wednesday (14 Oct). 4B class outing. amanda, ain, vimalan, alfred, yogi, kai jin, ken and yong cheng came for it. we went to settlers to play some board games. was fun and it was great to see them again. after that, i left with yong cheng and had dinner with ken, yi feng and joey at new york new york.
thursday (15 Oct) celebration of cheng ho's bday. went to ming shuang's condo and held it there. bought cheng ho a soccer ball. he was thrown into the pool too. played games through the whole day.
Friday (16 Oct) met techapon. waited for him at raffles city at comics mart, where i bought 2 Daspien Bladedancer from leck koon. after that, i followed tec to some place where they had the coolest earphones/headphones ever! i tried a $1000+ headphones and almost collapsed. it was soo goood. it felt like the person was singing directly to my ears. stayed there for awhile before heading to suntec for a walk. after that, we had dinner with the turtle gang.

it took them long enough. i'm happy to see the game continuing, even though there won't be anymore figs coming out for this year. it gives me time to save and spend it on something else, which is pretty cool, since most of my spare cash goes to WoW minis. i hope i can wait till' 2010.

on friday, i got my share of the Spectral Tiger. i'm so happy. but half of it needed to leave me as i needed to pay for my G5 (Gwen) yo-yo that i bought in the earlier half of the year.

i really like this fig a lot. but her stats are really terrible. she is neither a Shadow or Holy Priest, so she can't have access to Shadowform or Holy Nova. which is really sad.
her attack is weak (only useful if she crits, but that's hard, since only 3 dices are tossed).
she is a simple low honor fig, which is good.
Gift of Naaru is what makes her special. All Draenei can use this ability.

by looking at it, i can't afford her to use her normal attack, since she has to get pretty close to my opponents. so i've planned to use her for healing only.

so it boils down to how to make her useful with her ABCs and her other two friends.
the first ABC that came to my mind was actually a card that comes with her, Mass Dispel. i dislike DOTs a lot, especially those that come from Mortimers.
to me, her second card has to be an attacking card. its either Smite or Mind Blast. i prefer playing Mind Blast, as it has a higher attack and give me a chance to take out those irritating ABCs that my opponent is using.
Last ABC for her, i plan to pack her with Heal, just for safety measures.

She seems to need a lot of re-rolls as Crits are very important to her and whatever she does is either a Magic attack or a Healing ability. this is where Wrath of Air Totem could be used.
so which Shaman should i play?
i'm playing Prophet Velen. he's a strong fig by himself and Cristia will be doing all she can to keep him alive.
besides Wrath of Air Totem, the ABCs for him are Purge and Chain Lightning.

Last fig for me will be none other that Vindicator Hoodon. he brings a cool ability, which is still unique to him, Devotion Aura. both Velen and Cristia will benefit form this, making their Armor 3 and 2 respectively.
his ABCs will be Flash of Light, Bulwark of Azzinoth and Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros. Play Bulwark if you want defense. if not i suggest that Sulfuras would be a better choice.

wednesday (23 September). went out with Kool Kids. played L4D. fun game. at first i was shocked every now and then by those zombie things, but after awhile, they got irritating and i killing frenzy activated in my mind. the more i load my guns, the more i wanna use them.

wednesday (17 sep). went to watch Time Traveler's Wife with ken and jocelyn. before the show, me and ken went to plaza sing to shops that sell collectable toys and i saw this X-23 fig that i really want to get. but i didn't. now i'm feeling lots of regret about it. the movie was okay. i liked the story line and how things came together the way it was meant to be. 3 out of 5 stars. ate dinner with them (they watched me rattle) before going home.

Thursday (18 sep). i went for WoW nights. five of us were there. me, ian, yong teck and orange and hansen who organizes this thing. we played the World Championship map and scenario. the map is complicated, no VP points and capture the flag format. this makes it more interesting and way cooler. i used Skeletal Priest, Death Watcher and Deathwhisperer.
first match i was playing against yong teck. he was killing my death watcher so often. he used his flying Conqueror Aluna, daxin and morova.
second match, i played against a double mortimer and Magistrix kiala. made a big mistake with skeletal priest. i shouldn't have used him to attack and should have used his mass dispel to clear all the DOTs.
last match, i was up against orange and his vashj, rethilgore and bog elemental. i won this game. vashj took a big hit from my deathwhisperer and reth was walking with no more than 3 health throughout the game. every time reth re spawns, he gets hits really bad.

first day of the WoW minis qualifiers. i was there at 1030 and waited for the rest of the players to come. i took the time to decide on what team i was playing. in the end, E3 was still the best option for me. just that this time, bog elemental wouldn't be in. he'll be replaced by another EFS.

picking the ABCs was easy for me (this is not a good thing, as it shows that i have very limited ABCs to choose from and get very predictable).

my first match was against Joe from thailand. he ran a Vashj,Rethilgore and Crushridge Ogre. with a total of 24 honor, he was just 1 VP lesser than me to win. the match was fast. i won as i managed to get 1 kill on Vashj, 2 on Reth and Ogre. he made a lot of strategic mistakes which led to his downfall. 25 VP to 18 VP.
with the ending of the match, i walked around and found Highlord Bolvar Fordragon on a Pegasus!

second match began and my opponent was none other than mark tay. he was playing the team that i most feared, Triple Mortimer. the DOTs were spreading all around and i only managed to get 14 VP before he won. i was very proud of myself, as it was the first time i was playing against this team. today, i felt the wrath of the Demonic Circle.
i walked around again and found those Mortimers.

there are seriously too many of them!

match three was something i faced in the realms qualifiers. not only the person was the same, but his leading character was the same too. Orange ran a Vashj, Bloodscale Wavecaller and Crushridge Ogre party. he gained the 29 points he needed really quickly. within the first few ticks, both my EFS were dead. it was really unfair, he was getting Crits for all his dice rolls and no misses. if lady luck existed, i sure would give her a hard slap across her face. i've only gotten 14 VP.

there wasn't any match four for me as my opponent left. when the rest were finished, we had prize giving and i got Dagg'um Ty'gor and some common figure from the Bounty Board roll. we had lunch after that.

we came back and watched the Draft event. i needed coffee badly, so me and Wiloon went to Starbucks for a drink.
we went back to sign up for the 7 p.m. event and during the wait, i decided on the team i wanted to play. and still, E3 was all on my mind.

match one was against the same person i faced at my earlier match one, Joe. he changed his team though. he ran Prophet Velen, Savin Lightguard and Graccus A.K.A Velen Wall. the match was long and tiring. even after Overtime, we were both 4 VP away from victory. but i had an EFS at Victory Point Location, so i gained 1 more VP. i won at 20 VP to 27 VP.

second match for me still kept me shocked. i played against another thai player and he used Triple Murloc against me. i didn't know he was packing Ice Blocks as i saw him playing offensively for his matches. a BIG MISTAKE i made by not packing in Elemental Charge for my EFSs. i lost and till' this very moment (two days have passed), I'm still shocked.

match 3, i was against Wiloon. he switched his velen wall to something he was more familiar with, Cairne Bloodhoof. Aleyah and Thangal followed the Tauren Cheiftain. i won. i can't remember how it ended, it was either i gained the last 3 VP i needed or it was overtime.

its been a really long time since i placed a post. i have been real busy these two weeks, got the comics and toys convention along with my exams.
i'm done with econs and just finished POM today. i hope i can pass for the papers cause i know i did real bad. i don't want to waste my holiday on supplementary and retakes of the exams.

15 august, i went to the comics and toys convention with alex and carmen.
i bought the efs and birdman minis that i needed, and 1 Fleet Master Seahorn.

this year was fun, but i generally preferred last year's booths even though hansen's WoW booth was amazing.

i checked on marvel.com a few days ago and found the last episode of x-men evolution.

this saturday there is the national championship for WoW mins and i i hope to do well. i won't have much time to practice, cause i still got my Retail A. and Marketing fundey exams on thursday and friday. at least the exams are almost over...

a long time ago, i told myself that i'll try new teams and will give E3 a rest and will only use them when i really need to. well, the time has come for me to choose what i'll play at the Nationals. i have narrowed down the teams that i want to play and they are, omedus, thangal and morova, cheap savin wall, blood elf team, triple murloc and the current best candidate, E3.
playing omedus, thangal and morova seems promising, but can you remember the battlegrounds when all omedus did was to kill himself?
how about cheap savin wall? if i play this team, it'll be the first time i'm actually playing the alliance at an event (i don't even remember playing the alliance against anyone before. i just use them for practice)!
blood elf. favorite race. i haven't exactly played this team yet. the theme is built around champion shadowsun. the team helps to keep those irritating ABCs away. i'll play test it real soon.
these little murlocs will never seem to leave me. a 12 honor team seems really good, as i only need 3 kills. but i never quite like them. i hate playing ice block. it slows down the game. i hate slow games!
if i'm playing E3, i really have to give it a tune up. all my ABCs are from the coreset, which means my E3 is fully coreset. i need to get the rest of the ABCs as soon as possible.
who knows? maybe an interesting team will pop out of my mind and i may just play it.
oh well, time for lunch...

finally. the feeling of losing WoW minis games every time has become numb to me. i don't feel anything after losing anymore. i actually laugh it off. haha!
it's been weeks since i played at the weekly battlegrounds and for the next 3 weeks, i won't be attending cause i'll be having my exams...

Thursday (6 august), i went there after school. i was there at about 735 and found the door locked. so i gave a call to hansen and he told me that he'll be slightly late. so i went to the coffee shop and ordered a can of coke. i waited till about 750 and went to the entrance and saw yong teck and friend (i'm so sorry, i just currently can't remember your name). hansen came within minutes. so we waited for awhile before all the players arrived. there were 6 of us today. during the wait, i decided to run a cairne bloodhoof, mojo shaper ojo'mon, and morova of the sands.

we were drafted and my first opponent was against wei lun. he was playing the same team i played against the last time we met. it was aleyah, bloodhoof and thangal. at tick 2 or 3 (i can't remember) his bloodhoof knocked off my bloodhoof of the board. he was dishing out painful damages and my rolls were filled with misses. i conceded when he gotten 23 out of the 26 vp he needed. i got 1 vp in the end.

we were the first to finish. so we walked around and i saw Jaina VS Valen.

for the second round, i was against that Jaina team. it was runned by yong teck (whom i finally got to play against, this is my first match against him). besides jaina, i was up against ruby and this month's battlegrounds mini jezbella of karabor. at tick 2, my bloodhoof gave ruby a swing and i got the kill, only to find her friends coming back for revenge. yong teck were rolling crits every where and the misses were still with me. jaina's water elemental gave my mojo the final hit which resulted to a lost for me. at least this round i made it to 4 vp. for the record, this is my first time against jaina, and i sure felt her wrath.

last round for the evening and i was against lao shi (teacher in chinese). he was playing illiana, aleyah and champion shadowsun. i got a grip of the team i was playing and i faced all his characters on separate occasions which allows me to predict on his strategies. this game was slow, as both of us gave serious thoughts on our actions. the real heat began when my bloodhoof attacked both his illiana and aleyah with a cleave. with misses, both illiana and aleyah were knocked off the board. champion came in giving my bloodhoof a good hit. as the match proceeded, both teams were on each other's necks and it all came to a point when my opponent was 17 out of 27 vp needed and i was short of 3 vp. i moved bloodhoof up and hope to get the kill on champion and illiana with cleave. the dices were rolled, and i've gotten two success with a crit. all i did was to move his characters. it was tick 5 and all his characters came charging at bloodhoof, killing him off. at the end of tick 5, lao shi got the last 2 vp he needed.

0 wins and 3 loss. i got myself another magma totem and was surprised to see yong teck walking away with 2 jezbella of karabor (he was the overall winner and he won the lucky draw).
we talked for awhile before we left. before we actually did, yong teck gave me his jezbella. Thank you, yong teck!

i took a cab with ian to go home.

today was another boring day in school.
went for POM, got A for project and C for personal score. i was super happy =].
but for MF, i got C. i was hoping for a B as my group has placed in a lot of hard work and i felt we deserved more...
i also played a lot of card games with "kool" kids. i lost a lot of money. but it sure was fun.

the epics in WoW mins have been very interesting. when a new set comes, all attention will be directed at the epics. everyone will be thinking of finding a perfect synergy to fully utilize the epics. so many parties have been created, but only few epics have shown success and playability. sadly, this poor Champion has never seen daylight.

well, there are many reasons "why he doesn't make the cut".
3 armor and 1 resist. sounds familiar? yup, it's the same as everybody's favorite Thrall. nobody likes to play Thrall because of his flimsy 1 resist. i can't understand why they made the same mistake on Rexxar. all those crazy mages and warlocks are going to give dear Rexxar a really hard time.
his Twin Axes in not worth the 3 ticks. i know he gets to attack again, but this means that the opponent gets to defend again too. his crit is okay but not efficient enough to help balance his weak attack.
his attack has no range. a HUNTER with no range.
Champion of the Horde. this is suppose to be a good thing, but it is simply to hard for this poor chap to kill. this makes him more like a back-up plan. "when your more powerful Horde character couldn't finish off the opponent, let Rexxar do it!" -this shouldn't be the case.
like every other epic, there is a huge price to pay. besides the 10 honor, opponents gain twice the VP when the epic dies.

in attempt to make Rexxar look better, he comes with a really cool pet!

at the cost of 1 tick, with 2 armor, 2 resist, 4 health and an average attack of 3 ticks for 5 attack, Misha looks like another character that has just taken a hit. her crit is pretty cool too.
but hey, this makes Rexxar way more useless if Misha dies!

so how do we fix this problem? Answer: WE DON'T. WE LIVE WITH IT!
we have to look for characters that are preferably hard hitting and have the ability to healing. by theory, i've came up with this.

2. Illiana Sunshield
Cleanse
flash of light
blessing of might
3. Elizabetha Cairnwillow
summon Jhuroon
corruption
curse of agony
Summon santuria

Illiana will be doing her protecting and healing for Rexxar.
elizabetha will be dealing the most painful attacks (both Illiana's and Rexxar's attacks are bad) for the team. when jhuroon dies, elizabetha can summon santuria and use her as a sacrifice for elizabetha's Expandable.

it seems pretty good. wait a minute, why don't i remove illiana and place another elizabeth. it will look something like Jaina Zoo. pets all around. maybe this is Horde's weak answer to the version of that party. Rexxar Zoo. Haha.

to sum it up, i feel that there isn't any party right now for Rexxar. we'll have to wait for the next set, Souls of Vengeance. Hopefully there will be a great card that makes Rexxar more playable, maybe a Hunter Beast Mastery card.
if there isn't any, Rexxar will continue to not see daylight...

tuesday (4 aug), i had CSA lesson from 2 to 5. i went there empty handed (i brought a deck of cards. Does that count?). i practically didn't do anything much. it made me feel so wasted, so tired. after lesson, i went to the canteen and ate cup noodles and played cards with charlene, liyou, putri, rebecca, juju and kai lin. we left school about 6.

Well, that’s pretty much where i stopped.

After lessons, i went to buy cup noodles and it it with a fraction of the 'Kool' kids.
After that, i went to pasir ris with putri, liyou, ning xin, kai lin, juju, rebecca and charlene to give juju a surprise early birthday. We kinda walk for a while before heading to the arcade. I didn’t play any games cause my favorite Marvel VS Capcon 2 (I know it’s an old game) wasn’t there. Then stuff toys of Stitch in those “I put money in, use the Crane and attempt to pick up what I want” games fascinated me. I then somewhat ‘unwillingly’ (Hahahaha!) followed the group to take pictures from this really irritating photo machine.

haha. i couldn't help but to find this really amusing.
so we (ning xin left) headed to sakae sushi. we were there for a long time and i kinda ate the most. eating and eating and eating. sure was fun for me. we had left overs and had to clear them somehow. we ate what we could and the rest, well, disappeared. one under the plate and in kai lin's bag. so we went to the cashier and she still charged us for the rest of the leftovers and we had to talk to her to changed her mind. in the end, she waved it away.
everything per person was about $20, and i ate about $50 to $70 worth of their food. =] cool toothpick and straw.
so we left and took the train. i went home and ate. again.
today was all about eating for me. i'm feeling a little hungry now, i guess i should grab a bite. haha!

it's been awhile since i played at the weekly battlegrounds and i sure do miss it. sad to say this but for the next one month, i still can't go. my mid-term exams are just round the corner. i can't really understand how time files so fast. but well, at least these few days are breaks, before heading back to the same study-all-day-long routine. I'm glad to find out that the day after my last paper, it's the 2009 nationals. this is so cool! i really love participating WoW minis tournaments. it gets me focused and sometimes reckless. however, i only have the night before to practice my game and to build my party. so i have been using the pass few days to practice.

Projects are over! I'm so delighted. i finally got my well deserved rest last night by sleeping for like 12 hours. the past week has been tough.

i've been like sick since 13 july and only these couple of days i've been feeling better. i practically missed the whole week of school. staying at home wasn't fun either. i could barely get out of bed, and i watched precious time seep through my hands like sand. the 'i don't want to go school' feeling is coming back, which is pretty surprising, since i always get that feeling in the first week of school and it took me this long to get it back. my last exams were just a couple of weeks ago, but now a new set of exams is coming.
yep, the feeling sure is back.

thursday (9 july), WoW night again. i was there earlier that day. we talked about onyxia and found out from hansen that it will no longer be in production. which means no raiding for us. he also told us that he received the new battlegrounds kit and we would be able to win them next week. i decided to run a thangal, morova and omedus party this week since i saw how powerful this team was in the realm championship and DMF.

i waited for awhile more before the game started.

round 1, my opponent was Ian and he was using the Horde version of B.I.G (haruka, aleyah and illiana). i had lots of bad dice rolls (more later on) and i could use my one hit kill like i predicted would happen. omedus was killing himself due to the side effect of his mind spike. i lost. 0 win 1 lost.

second round, i was playing against christopher. he used 2 mortimers and a elizabetha cairnwillow. i had to chase the mortimers everywhere and i barely got any kills. this was also my first encounter against a mortimer. yet again, i got epic fails in dice rolls. omedus kills himself! 0 wins 2 lost.

for my third round, bloodhoof, thangal and aleyah were my opponents. i got thrashed in this game. for the third time, my dice rolls were practically all misses. i still get crits for omedus, but usually only two other success and the rest misses. 0 wins 3 losts.

for my last round, i was against the triple mortimer team. this was one of the most difficult game i've ever played. chasing mortimer seems nearly impossible. i had to kill his pets before he comes close to me. with 3 range, it was hard for me to give up. i conceded. 0 wins 4 losts.

deja vu. same like last week. all games lost. for all matches, my dice rolls were terrible for omedus. and i was getting crits when i don't need them at all.

prizes were given out and i got myself another heroic leap.

after that, we had a lucky draw. there were 10 of us so a number 1 to 10 were given to each of us. i got 10, which represents crit. so the dice was thrown and it hit something, so the dice was thrown again. guess what? hansen rolled a crit.

WHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

i got the battlegrounds mini Bregina Stoneshiv! its only given to the first place winner. this is also my second battleground mini. so by looking at it, the first position and last position this week got this mini. cool. finally, i got a crit when i needed it.

to be correct, i have faced just about everyone there is to face here in singapore. but i haven't played against yong teck yet. i hope next week i will get to.

its been a long time since i talked about yo-yos, but that doesn't mean i'm not into it. i still keep my eyes on what yo-yos are new. this specially applies to my favorite brand yoyo factory (thank you Yo hans!). ever since i played my Grind Machine and Gwen (my G5), i've fallen for yo-yo factory. it gives me a wonderful time playing as the string play is good and smooth and they have hubstacks! so, i kept my eyes on their products, and these next two yo-yos that i'll be typing about have caught my attention for more than 25 seconds.

i will actually buy this yo-yo. i love the grind machine a lot, so i just may go along with this one. and wait! its $48! $22 dollars cheaper than the grind machine! it also has better refinements. and hubstacks.

nothing in this world is perfect, so yo-yos like this one has its flaws. its ball bearing no longer has the YYF initials. does this mean that the yo-yo ball bearing is of a lower grade? the yo-yo is also made for china, not the USA.

well, it seems that there are 4 pros (1 is by personal preference) and 2 (lousy, unsupported) cons, i think this yo-yo will be next on my list.
