Burning Legion VS Horde

the tp website is really ridiculous. i waited for 3 and a half hours just to fill up my CDS which took no more than 3 minutes. 

i just found out that i accidently deleted my CSA project. this is a real bad news. i hope this project only takes up like 20% of my overall score, or you have to see me with CSA next year.

AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!! 

last night (18 june), i went for WoW night battlegrounds organized by popcorn gaming. it was at geylang. the place was hard to find (the entrance was just a white door with no signs telling you that this is popcorn gaming) but i manage to find my way with the help of a small map image in my phone. i thought i was late (the time stated was 730, i was there at 738), but i wasn't as there was only leck koon and another guy there. i wasn't aware that i would be getting the DMF figure mortimer the malign. hansen opened a box full of them and gave one to me. the coolest thing is, singapore is currently the only one with these mortimer figures and that this will only be given to those who participate in the DMF championship. 

it will cost a lot if i put it up for sale right now on ebay. 

it'll be so cool to play three of him.

so we waited for the rest of the players to come and we finally began at 815. a total of 11 people playing. i was still deciding whether to play my infamous E3 of my new thrall party (himself, wilton thorne and illana sunshield). i went with thrall. 

my first match (i lost) was against henry's brother, who played prince kael'thas sunstrider, bog elemental and razzani nexus stalker. i liked this round a lot as i used thrall to one hit knock-out on kael'thas. 

my second match (i won) was against dralor, vi'gor darkbreeze and magdeline prideheart. this team was played by ian. fun match as my sulfuras, hand of ragnaros (equipped to wilton) would deal 1 damage to whoever deals damage to the owner and my opponents characters where one health away from getting destroyed. so hitting wilton would be dumb, but wilton usually seemed like the only target. wilton made a 4 melee attack against a five amour dralor with 2 health left. and guess what, wilton made the kill. third round (i won), i was up against mark's high priestess tyrande whisperwind, irana and elanna starbreeze. i loved this match as both wilton and thrall were 1 health and it took so long to kill them (wilton survived from 7 attacks, before getting destroyed). last round (i lost), i was against a similar team i played against in round three. the only exception was that instead of elanna, it was savin lightguard. a 30 honor team crushed me. lots of bad dice rolls and weak planning. i got thrall killed 2 or 3 times. that hurt a lot. he made my thrall run around to hunt down tyrande, but was by the time i caught up, he was going to get destroyed. i got 19 vp before losing. i was 6th position in the end.

i liked this team a lot. i plan to use it for awhile and try to come up with better strategies for this team.

sunday (14 june). its my cousin ken's wedding! i wish them both to have a happily ever after and may they both overcome their difficulties together.

saturday (13 june), i went to chua chu kang comunity centre to attend Spore-con. the place were filled with people that share a common interest in board games. many competitions were held, and one of them was the WoW minis [which i participated]. before my event, i went around roaming, looking and taking pictures of the other games i saw.

after walking around, i went up stage for my event. i played a couple of games before the game started. 

the event that i attended was a sealed event. this means that players are given boosters and have to build a party from the figures that they have opened. i won my first two games but lost the last one. i was second in terms of win-lose, and third in terms of who i faced. i got two more random minis and foils from the next set that is coming out this october. i traded all the characters that i've opened, because i already had all of them. i went to purchase my illana sunshield. i got off the stage, took a couple more pictures and went home. 

yesterday (9 june), there was a 1R03 barbeque. it was fun and entertaining. it was also the first time i drew the highest hand in a five card combination. ace, king, queen, jack, 10 of spades. royal flush. and i also had the 9 of spades, but that didn't really matter. the chicken pie was good. 

i enjoyed yesterday a lot. a very good stress relive after the exams.

tommy dreamer has done it! 

just about five months ago, dreamer said that he would retire if he didn't capture the ECW title by today. but he won it in a triple threat hardcore rules match to become the new ECW champion. 

i know that WWE is not real wrestling as everything is scripted, but for the past few years, WWE has been pretty unpredictable. and when there are matches concerning retirement, the results don't go the way the fans want them. 

but that doesn't matter, as the ECW original is champion!

happy bday lynn!

during the afternoon, i went to give a speech at spring singapore to the graduating dyslexia students this year. i met and old friend jaired. he was graduating and giving a speech. 

with the written speech in my left hand and the mic in my right, 

i spoke to the people. 

Sunday (7 june), i went to bugis to buy my comics. its been months since i've been there. some of the comics that i was looking for are no longer there or the pricing has increased. i still manage to buy 3 though, my x-force and cable. 

tests are over!

free at last [well, only for two weeks]! the papers were difficult and i'm glad i don't have to do anymore [until the next tests].

i went to watch terminator [again] with yi feng and ken. it was much better watching it the second time. ate ljs twice toady. i bought the same meal twice as well. haha.

now i can get back to what i do best. laze around=]

today is my birthday!

and my first test...

i was so worried as i didn't study the last 2 chapters. good thing those two chapters never appeared as the case study questions.

went to eat lunch with my friends and the gave me a surprised 'cake'. 

i  love brownies. it was also the first time i took out a candle with my mouth.
